About Us

BSET EQ was founded in 1996, but began manufacturing plasma systems in 1998 due to requests for process development and custom systems from many of our clients. Since then we have developed a standard product line featuring three main products. Our company celebrates its 10th year of manufacturing this year.

The company began its product-line with the "NT Series" Planar plasma systems and by the turn of the millennium we had expanded our product line to include our popular FA 2000™ Series reactive Ion etchers and our SP Series barrel plasma systems.

We are extremely proud of our people, products and our ability to provide innovative plasma solutions with emphasis on cleaning and etching applications. Together with our customers, reps and distributors we continue development of new tools and processes to establish new business and to provide unsurpassed support to our worldwide install base.

Our 10,000 sq. ft. facility houses our administrative offices, laboratory and production areas inclusive of our complete sheet metal and machine shop. We are proud to class ourselves as a true manufacturing facility with little outsourcing . We believe that this old fashioned concept provides us with a huge advantage with regards to timely quality control as well as design flexibility.

BSET EQ is located near the California Delta and is within a one hour drive from key areas including the Silicon Valley. The San Francisco, San Jose and Oakland Intl airports serve our visitors.
